
Alexandra has 28 years combined working experience in corporate and investment banking with international financial institutions and Treasurer/CFO positions with large industrial corporates.
Alexandra is currently a Managing Director, Head of Multinationals for HSBC Continental Europe, responsible for leading and co-ordinating the execution of the bank’s strategy for its multinational corporate clients, managing teams in 10 European countries. She is also the Senior Executive leading the Sustainability agenda for Global Banking in Continental Europe.
She joined HSBC in January 2020 as Head of Wholesale Banking of HSBC Greece, overseeing the coverage teams for Corporate, Financial Institutions and Public sector clients and she relocated to HSBC in Paris in 2023, where she assumed wider regional responsibilities.
Prior to joining HSBC, Alexandra has held senior positions in corporate and investment banking with Citigroup and Bank of America and her last position was Group CFO in Public Power Corporation (PPC) and a member of the Board of Directors of PPC Finance. Alexandra also serves on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations (HCAP S.A.) since February 2023 as a Non-Executive Director and Member of the Audit, Investment and Candidates’ Committees.
She holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MBA degree from INSEAD. She is a member of the Women in Business Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of the INSEAD National Alumni Association.
